We believe everyone deserves hope and a chance to live a full life. We live in an age of advanced technical and medical breakthroughs and some of the best minds. Yet, there were over 8 million cancer-related deaths worldwide in 2012 according to the National Cancer Institute. Strokes are the leading cause of death in the United States each year. Only 4% of federal cancer research funding goes to childhood cancers. And there are still cancers and other diseases that have more of a miracle than medical survival rate. Many people are afraid to take on the “incurable” diseases or cancers that have metastasized (spread to other organs). Our goal is to fund research so we can offer more successful treatment options and a cure for some of the most underfunded and “hopeless” diseases. Our wish is for promising medical trials, better understanding and opportunities to educate. Most of all we long to offer support to families doing everything in their power to help save the life of a loved one. We strive for better treatment, better understanding, more time, hope and above all, a cure.
