In 2013, Farrah Lennon showed her dad, Tom, a domain she bought to start a foundation in his honor.
At the time, Tom was battling stage IV Prostate Cancer that had metastasized to his liver and living with the effects of multiple strokes. He was touched by the idea and loved that his name would be synonymous with helping people; sadly he would not live long enough to see it come to fruition. When he passed away on November 28, 2014, at 69 years old, Tom’s “kids” made a promise to build a foundation in his name that helped people in the direst of circumstances. Tom said a prayer each night for others who were suffering, even as he himself suffered. His prayers were heard and his family has stepped up. The Tom Lennon Foundation will not rest as long as there are families fighting for a loved one.
